China and US reach eight-point consensus during Xi state visit

During President Xi Jinping's state visit to the US from September 23-25, the two heads of state reached an eight-point consensus covering strategic stability, mutual support for APEC and G20 summits, Iran's nuclear commitments, WWII alliance history, trade negotiations including a 'US$30 billion' reciprocal tariff reduction, drug enforcement cooperation, AI dialogue, and the panda loan. The two militaries also agreed to sign a memorandum on crisis communication.

9月23日至25日，习近平主席对美国进行国事访问。两国元首达成八点成果共识，涵盖战略稳定、相互支持APEC和G20峰会、伊朗核问题、二战同盟历史、贸易谈判包括“300亿美元”对等降税安排、禁毒执法合作、人工智能对话及大熊猫租借等。两国军方还同意签署加强危机沟通的谅解备忘录。
