    BYD Considering Lithium Battery Plant in Argentina, Foreign Minister Says

    BYD is studying whether to manufacture lithium batteries in Argentina, Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno said after meeting the company's executive vice-president Stella Li.     Highway EV Charging During China's National Day Holiday Up 51% Year-on-Year

    During the October 1-7 National Day holiday, China's highway EV charging sessions totaled 6.711 million times with 163 million kWh consumed, averaging 23.2566 million kWh daily, up 51.42% year-on-year. Separately, IEA member countries agreed to accelerate releasing the remaining 1 billion barrels of oil from their March commitments, with about 325 million barrels already released and around 1.1 billion barrels in strategic reserves remaining.

    10月1日至7日，中国高速公路新能源汽车充电次数共计671.10万次，充电量达1.63亿千瓦时，日均充电量2325.66万千瓦时，同比增长51.42%。另据国际能源署消息，其成员国同意加快落实今年3月宣布的石油储备释放计划，承诺释放剩余约1亿桶石油，已释放约3.25亿桶，仍持有约11亿桶应急储备。
